Description
Christie L. Martin grew up in Miami, Florida. She entered the U.S. Air Force directly out of high school, serving as a jet engine mechanic domestically and in Japan before leaving military service to work in the civilian aviation industry.

Christie focuses her practice on elder law and estate planning. Specifically, Christie has extensive experience in guardianships, conservatorships, probate, wills and trusts. Her clients consist primarily of individuals but she also represents hospitals and nursing and memory care facilities. She believes that elder law and estate planning are critically important, particularly as our nation's population ages. Her approach is simple: Focus on the individual. She meets clients wherever they feel most comfortable, including at their homes.

Christie also serves as a probate guardian ad litem and settlement guardian ad litem.

Christie enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs, traveling and kayaking. Admittedly a Miami Dolphins fan, Christie is a proud supporter of the Portland Timbers and is a volunteer park host with Oregon State Parks.
