I grew up in Lakewood, WA, and graduated from Lakes High School in 1984. After graduation I joined the US Army, where I proudly served in The 3rd US Infantry, The Old Guard. Though I had been involved in sports since I was very young, nothing had prepared me to understand the importance of teamwork more than the time I spent with with my fellow military members.
Once I exited the military in 1990 I went to work running a printing press in Tacoma, something I had done to earn money for a year while I was in high school. As 1994 was winding down I sat down for a performance review, and in that review I was given a pay raise that put me at the top of the pay scale for my position. Since the company I was working for was a fairly young company, I was as old or older than most of the management team, I decided that I was going to make an employment change... I was too young to feel like I couldn't progress in my career.
I began working in automotive sales at the very end of 1994. After 5 years in sales I was promoted into management, where I spent the next 19 years. I treated my years in the automotive industry as a career, not a job, and have since brought my years of exceeding client expectations to my real estate business.
I am proud to have Keller Williams South Sound as my real estate team, and look forward to finishing my business career here. As was the case with my military and automotive careers, exceeding expectations is what drives me in real estate. Whether representing buyers or sellers, my relationships will be based upon integrity, trust, and working with a heart to serve.
